Today we went to the local school to start our community project. For this we had to clean the walls, fix cracks in buildings and pick up litter. It was interesting looking around the classrooms and seeing the difference between schools here and schools back home. It was really enjoyable being able to work in smaller groups and it made us a better team. This evening we went on a walk to a viewpoint overlooking Kosi Bay estuary.We saw whales surfacing off the coast and watched the sunset.
Tomorrow we're looking forward to getting on with the project (the painting begins!) and the opportunity to teach some of the children and enjoying the rest of our time at Kosi Bay.
